Our Young Loved Ones... A message of never missing out

When we lose a young loved one—a child, sibling, or young family member—the grief we feel is overwhelming. One of the hardest parts of this loss is the belief that they missed out on so much. We think about the birthdays they didn’t get to celebrate, the family gatherings where their absence feels so strong, and the milestones they never reached. But Spirit has a message for us that offers deep comfort: They haven’t missed out on a thing. 

Though they may no longer be with us physically, their soul is still present in our lives. They are right here with us, experiencing the love, the joy, and the moments we share as a family. When we come together for holidays, when we gather for special moments, or even when we are simply enjoying life’s everyday moments, they are by our side.

Spirit Wants Us to Know: They Are Always Present 

In the physical world, it’s easy to feel the absence of someone we love. We notice the empty chair at a family dinner, or we remember how much they loved a certain holiday tradition. But Spirit reminds us that while they may not be physically present, they are very much there in Spirit, sharing in the love, connection, and experiences we create together.

When we gather as a family, whether it’s for a holiday, a birthday, or just a regular day, they join us in Spirit. They don’t miss these moments—they are part of them. Their presence is felt in the warmth, the love, and the sense of connection that fills the space. You may not always see them, but you can feel them—their energy is with you, sharing in the joy, laughter, and love.

One of the most comforting truths from Spirit is that our young loved ones continue to grow, even after they’ve crossed over. Their soul matures, but not in the way we experience physical growth. Instead, they grow spiritually—through love, connection, and the experiences we share with them here on Earth. Every time we gather in love, every time we honor their memory, they evolve in Spirit. 

They are not frozen in time as the child, teenager, or young adult they were when they passed. In Spirit, they continue to develop and expand, learning from the love and life we live here. They are growing energetically, walking alongside us in all the ways that matter.

Each time we celebrate a family milestone, each time we come together to share love, they are there, evolving through the connection they still have with us. They are not separate from our journey; instead, they are intimately tied to it. As we grow, they grow. As we experience life, they are part of that experience, too. 

They Never Miss the Moments That Matter 

We often worry about the important moments they missed—the birthdays, graduations, family traditions, and even the small, everyday joys. But Spirit reassures us: They haven’t missed out on any of it. They are still part of every cherished moment, every family gathering, every special event.

Whether it’s a holiday dinner, a wedding, or simply sitting around the table sharing stories, they are with us. Their spirit is woven into the fabric of our lives, joining in on every celebration, milestone, and moment of love. They are not gone—they are simply experiencing life in a different way, one that allows them to be present, to grow, and to continue being part of our journey.

The love we share with our young loved ones continues to nourish their soul. Every smile, every laugh, every act of remembrance deepens their connection to us. They are not missing out—they are right there, celebrating alongside us, growing through the love and energy we share with them.
